Take your tofu benny up a notch with our secret egg seasoning!

Ingredients

3 tbsp of our egg seasoning

1 block of firm or extra firm tofu
-
2 tsp vegan butter or oil
Directions
For Tofu Benny; Cut 1 block of tofu into 6 squares by first, cutting the block in half, then each of those halves into three slices
For egg sandwiches, slice the whole tofu block lengthwise into 4-5 ‘slabs’ depending how thick you want it
Place your tofu slices into a medium pot and add 3 Tbsp’s of seasoning
Add just enough water into the pot to cover the tofu. Then, bring everything to a boil, let boil 1 minute then shut off
Carefully transfer your tofu slices to a medium size pan with oil
Bring to medium heat and cook just until golden on each side
Serve up on our buttermilk biscuits, topped with hollandaise for a Tofu Benedict, or on a sandwich with melted vegan cheese and our breakfast sausage patties. Crumble the leftover tofu into scramble!
