You'll need any non-dairy milk and vanilla extract to complete this recipe. Makes 8+ slices depending on the size of bread you use. We recommend a soft white bread or sourdough. To make half the recipe, see notes below.

Ingredients

French Toast mix
-
1 ⅔ cups of plant milk

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Vegan butter or oil for cooking
Directions
In a shallow baking dish (9x13works best), add in the dry mix contents, then to the mix pour in the plant milk and vanilla extract
Use a whisk to mix everything well so no clumps remain (do not eat the raw mix)
Dip your bread into the mixture and let soak for at least 3-4 minutes per side
To a large pan, add in vegan butter or oil and melt on medium heat
Once the pan has heated and it’s well coated with butter/oil, place 2-3 slices of French toast in the pan, making sure to not crowd the pan
Let the French toast cook until the bottom has created a lightly golden, firm coating. Then flip and cook the same on the other side
Be sure not to try and flip before the bottom has firmed up, otherwise you’ll lose the coating!
Cook the rest of your pieces the same and serve immediately with fresh fruit & pure maple syrup!
Recipe Note
Half batch: Use 130 grams of the dry mix, then add 1/2 cup + 1/3 cup plant milk and 1/2 tsp of vanilla.
